Large international trade fairs present great opportunities for meetings between Eastern and Western Europe. At these forums, both sides can showcase their new products and technologies, and can gauge market needs and opportunities on the other half of the continent.
Things will probably be no different at this year's 'K' plastics and rubber industry trade fair in Düsseldorf. Organizers plan to host some 3,000 exhibitors at the event, taking place at the end of October. The great majority will come from Germany, other Western European countries and Asia, while chances are that the countries of Central and Eastern Europe will also be represented by more than a hundred exhibitors.
